Michael Redfearn (Meningitis Research Foundation of Canada):“Meningitis is a very personal thing for me, it took the life of a former student of mine - 19-year-old Michael Longo. To see a mother and a family devastated by the death of a loved one touched me in a profound way.

 

If I can help prevent another death by meningitis that will take away a life, whether that's the life of a baby, or whether that's the life of a teenager or an, adult then I will continue to work as hard as I can to make sure that we have another human being in this world that could potentially help save other lives."
