World Meningitis Day 2024
Advocacy Fund pilot

Want to boost your meningitis advocacy activities for the 2024 World Meningitis Day in your country, but don’t have the funds to do so?

CoMO members are united in our desire for a world free of meningitis and we are all taking action to advocate for change by influencing decision-makers, stakeholders and relevant audiences in our communities.

CoMO is proud to offer five members a new opportunity to receive a cash grant, worth £2,000-£3,000 GBP each, to use for meningitis advocacy projects in the three months running up to World Meningitis Day 2024.

If you need a bit of inspiration, successful advocacy campaigns from the past include community initiatives such as raising awareness of meningitis symptoms in Pakistan by knocking on 2,000 doors, a health walk and live television discussion in Sierra Leone, and a campaign to light up buildings across Spain to mark the day. More examples.

The new CoMO World Meningitis Day Advocacy Fund is a unique opportunity to receive financial support to make your 2024 advocacy and engagement initiatives a reality. We are looking for innovative projects that have the potential to deliver high impact and change in your region.
